| In each section, the height of the neoplastic mucosa is lower than that of the non-neoplastic marginal mucosa, showing a depression. Inside the depression, there is a thickened wall with a slit-like groove at its apex. At this site, submucosal invasion is observed. In the invasive area, lymph follicles is observed. | |
