About this site
The Cancer Image Reference database of the National Cancer Center (NCC-CIR) is a reference database system of cancer images for physicians, which started as one activity of G7 sub project, MEDIREC (Medical Image Reference Center). It provides medical images and diagnostic information. Images include radiographs, CT, magnetic resonance imagings (MR), endoscopic images, ultrasonographs and pathological images.
Images provided in our site are published through the Committee review. We will be adding fields for search and the latest images with periodical renewal.
This database is arranged and managed for following purposes:
- For physicians' reference by searching images, diagnoses and cases from image findings and so on.
- For residents and students training of diagnosis on cancer by observing images without the case title and image findings.
We believe that our process from selecting to publishing cases is effective and the quality of data presented in our site is of great use for physicians and students in medical courses, in improving the accuracy of diagnosis on cancer.
Do not reprint NCC-CIR data without notice.
(Some images in NCC-CIR site have been inserted watermarks.)
