License agreement for NCC-CIR Viewer (will be mentioned as the "program" below).

The "program's" copyright belongs to IBM Japan Ltd. and IBM Corp. (will be mentioned as "IBM" below), and Cancer Image Reference Database (will be mentioned as "NCC-CIR" below) represents IBM in giving the rights to use the "program" to those who agree to the terms and conditions mentioned below.

By using this "program," the user agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement.

Here, "user" means the individual who downloads the "program" directly from the home page.
"Program" signifies the original program, its duplications, and attached documents.

1. User agreement

The user can only use the "program" through the machine that he/she directly downloaded it with. The user does not have the rights other than to display the DICOM files on NCC-CIR databases.

The user is not allowed to

  1. Use the "program" in ways prohibited by this agreement;
  2. Duplicate the "program;"
  3. Change, edit or combine the "program;"
  4. Arrange reverse-compilation or reverse-assembly, or to translate the "program;"
  5. Issue agreement rights to a third party or to offer the "program" itself;
  6. Distribute or send the "program" to third parties;
  7. Use it for purposes other than to display DICOM files on NCC-CIR databases.

2. Disclaimer of warranty

The "program" is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind.
The entire risk as to the results and performance of the "program" is assumed by the user, and NCC-CIR or IBM assumes no responsibility of compensation for damages or losses.

3. Others

No cost involved in using this "program."
The "program" does not guarantee all DICOM files to be displayed.
This license agreement complies with the Japanese Law.
