Chief complaint: Oral swelling, hemorrhage.

History
The patient had a 3-month history of throat discomfort. He consulted an otorhinolaryngological (ENT) clinic. A small mass of the right arytenoid region was found, and biopsy was performed. Biopsy under laryngomicrosurgery led to a diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma. The patient was then referred to our hospital for detailed examination/treatment.
Past history
Prostate cancer (Diagnosed 3 years earlier)
Family history
Mother: breast cancer, Younger sister: Cervical cancer

None
Drinking
2 beers perweek for 50 years
Physical status
An ulcerated mass was seen in the right arytenoid region.

[CBC] Within normal limits.
